Ingredients:
- Poha – 30 g
- Sooji – 30 g
- Curd – 1 tsp
- Onion – 1/2
- Tomato – 1/2
- Rye – 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves – 2-3
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Salt -as per taste
- Black pepper – a pinch
- Kitchen king – 1/4 tsp
- Olive oil – 1 tsp
Instructions:
This recipe will make 2 Poha chilla.
Grind the poha in a mixer to a coarse powder. Then add the powdered poha to a mixing bowl.
Gradually add 1/2 cup of water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Mix until you get a smooth batter.
Add the finely chopped onion and tomato to the batter and mix well.
Then add sooji, curd, salt, kitchen king, black pepper, rye, curry leaves to the batter and mix well.
Preheat a flat pan or tawa on medium heat and apply some oil to grease it.
Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the preheated pan and spread it evenly in a circular motion to form a thin chilla.
Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the chilla.
Cook the chilla until the bottom side turns golden brown.
Flip the chilla carefully and cook the other side until it is golden brown and cooked through.
Repeat with the remaining batter to make more chillas.
Serve the Poha Sooji Chilla hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
