Black chana salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiled black chana (black chickpeas)
  • 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cucumber (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (anar)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (roasted and ground)
Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients: Finely chop the onion, tomato, cucumber, and green chili. Roast the cumin seeds in a dry pan until fragrant, then grind them into a powder.

Mix the Chaat: In a large bowl, combine the boiled black chana, chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, pomegranate seeds, and green chili.

Season the Chaat: Add the roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, and lemon juice to the bowl.

Mix everything well to combine the flavors.

Serve: Serve the black channa chaat immediately as a healthy snack or side dish.
