Ingredients:
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup oats
- 5 tomatoes, blended into a paste with 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Water (as required)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions:
Sauté the Onions: Heat olive oil in a pot. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
Cook the Tomatoes: Add the blended tomato paste to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Simmer the Soup: Add water as needed to achieve desired consistency. Add oats, salt, oregano, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Finish and Serve: Add lemon juice and stir.
Serve hot.
