Ingredients:
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1/4 cup carrot (chopped)
- 1/4 cup broccoli (chopped)
- 1/4 cup beans (chopped)
- 1/2 cup onion (sliced)
- 1/2 cup tomato (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Kitchen King masala
- 1.5 tsp olive oil
- 2.5 cups water
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes. Drain. Chop the carrot, broccoli, beans, onion, and tomato.
Cook the Pulao: Heat olive oil in a pot. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add sliced onion and sauté until golden brown. Add chopped tomato, carrot, broccoli, and beans. Cook for a few minutes. Add Kitchen King masala and salt. Mix well. Add the soaked rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add 2.5 cups of water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and cook until the rice is done and the water is absorbed.
Serve: Fluff the pulao with a fork and serve hot with raita or salad.
