Ingredients
- 1 cup paneer, cut into small cubes
- 4 cups water or vegetable stock
- 1 tablespoon oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
- ½ cup carrot, finely chopped
- ½ cup cabbage, finely chopped
- ¼ cup green peas (optional)
- 2 tablespoons spring onion greens, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh coriander or spring onions for garnish
Preparation
Heat oil or butter in a pan. Add ginger and garlic; sauté for a minute until aromatic.
Add chopped carrots, cabbage, and peas; cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in water or vegetable stock. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Add paneer cubes, soy sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Stir in chopped spring onion greens and adjust seasoning.
Garnish with coriander or spring onions and serve hot.

Notes
- You can add mushrooms, baby corn, or spinach for variation.
- Lemon juice or vinegar can be added for a tangy twist.
