Ingredients
- Raw mangoes (green): 2 medium-sized
- Water: 4 cups
- Sugar: 2 tbsp (adjust to taste)
- Black salt: 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Mint leaves: 6-8 leaves
- Water for dilution: as needed
Preparation
Boil the raw mangoes in a pan with enough water to cover them. Cook until they become soft.
Allow the mangoes to cool and then peel the skin and remove the seeds.
Mash the pulp well and keep aside.
In a jug, mix the mango pulp with 4 cups of water, sugar, black salt, and roasted cumin powder.
Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
Adjust the water for desired consistency and add mint leaves for a fresh flavor.
Serve chilled, garnished with a mint leaf or ice cubes.
