Ingredients
- Apple, diced: 1 medium (preferably red or green for a crisp texture)
- Roasted peanuts: 2 tbsp
- Cucumber, diced: ½ cup
- Carrot, grated: ½ cup
- Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped: 1 tbsp
- Black salt: ¼ tsp (or to taste)
- Chaat masala: ¼ tsp (optional)
- Honey (optional, for sweetness): 1 tsp
Preparation
Wash and dice the apple (you can keep the skin on for added fiber).
Roast the peanuts lightly if not already roasted, and remove the skin if desired.
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apple, roasted peanuts, cucumber, carrot, and fresh coriander leaves.
Add lemon juice, black salt, and chaat masala (if using).
Drizzle honey if you prefer a slightly sweet flavor.
Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
Serve immediately as a refreshing and nutritious snack or side dish.
