Ingredients
- Bottle gourd (lauki), peeled and grated: 1 cup
- Mixed sprouts (moong, chana, or any sprouts of choice): 1 cup, boiled
- Tomato, finely chopped: 1 medium
- Cucumber, finely chopped: 1 medium
- Green chilies, finely chopped: 1 (optional)
- Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped: 2 tbsp
- Black salt: ¼ tsp
- Chaat masala: ½ tsp
- Roasted cumin powder: ½ tsp
- Salt: To taste
Preparation
Boil grated bottle gourd in a small amount of water for 3-4 minutes or until slightly tender.
Drain the water and let it cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled lauki, mixed sprouts, chopped tomato, cucumber, and green chilies (if using).
Add lemon juice, black salt, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and regular salt. Mix well.
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves on top.
Serve fresh as a side dish or a light, healthy snack.
