Ingredients:
- 2 potatoes (boiled and mashed)
- 4 slices brown bread
- 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1.5 inch ginger (grated)
- 1 tablespoon salt (or as per taste)
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds (rai)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Kitchen King masala
- 10 g fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
- Oil spray
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
Heat a non-stick pan and spray with oil.
Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Add the chopped onion, green chilies, and grated ginger. Sauté until the onion turns golden brown.Add turmeric powder, Kitchen King masala, and salt. Mix well.
Add the boiled and mashed potatoes. Stir to combine and cook for a few minutes.
Stir in the chopped coriander leaves.
Prepare the Sandwich: Spread the prepared potato filling evenly on a slice of brown bread.
Place another slice of bread on top to make a sandwich.
Grill or toast the sandwich until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Serve: Serve the aloo sandwich hot with your favorite chutney or ketchup.
