Boiled Egg Whites

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Eggs: 4
  • Water: Enough to cover eggs
  • Ice cubes: For cooling

Preparation

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water.

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat and let them simmer for 10-12 minutes for firm egg whites.

Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them sit for 5 minutes to stop further cooking.

Gently crack the eggs and peel off the shells.

Carefully remove the yolks and discard or use separately.

Servings: 2

Notes

  1. Eat plain with a pinch of salt & pepper.
  2. Chop and mix into salads or wraps.
  3. Use as a protein-rich snack post-workout.
