Ingredients
- Cucumber (thinly sliced): 1 large
- Mango (peeled and diced): 1 large, ripe
- Red onion (finely sliced): 1 small
- Fresh cilantro (chopped): 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Olive oil: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: ¼ tsp
- Chaat masala (optional): ½ tsp
- Crushed peanuts or sesame seeds (optional for crunch): 2 tbsp
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced cucumber, diced mango, and sliced red onion.
Add the chopped fresh cilantro and toss everything together gently.
Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the salad and toss again.
Season with salt, black pepper, and chaat masala (if using).
For added texture and flavor, sprinkle crushed peanuts or sesame seeds on top before serving.
Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes for a refreshing dish.
