Instructions:
This recipe Will make 2 servings.
In a pan, melt 1 tsp of ghee. Add 1/2 cup of Makhana and cook them on low heat for about 4-5 minutes until they become crispy.
Remember to stir them occasionally so they don’t burn.
To see if they are done, take one Makhana, crush it, and they’re perfectly roasted if it makes an excellent crunching sound.
Now, transfer the roasted makhanas to a plate and let them cool.
In a bowl, whisk the curd until it’s smooth.
Add the cooled roasted makhanas, (optional) roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, coriander leaves, and rock salt (sendha namak).
Mix everything well.
Enjoy your Dahi Makhana after letting it rest for 10 minutes.
