Ingredients
- Besan (gram flour): ¼ cup
- Eggs: 1
- Onion (finely chopped): 2 tbsp
- Tomato (finely chopped): 2 tbsp
- Green chili (finely chopped): 1 (optional)
- Coriander leaves (chopped): 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder: ¼ tsp
- Black pepper powder: ½ tsp
- Salt: To taste
- Water: As needed (for batter consistency)
- Olive oil/ghee: 1 tsp
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk the egg well.
Add besan, onion, tomato, green chili, coriander, cumin seeds, turmeric, black pepper, and salt.
Gradually add water to make a smooth, pourable batter.
Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil or ghee.
Pour a ladle of batter and spread it evenly.
Cook on low-medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
Flip carefully and cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve hot with green chutney or yogurt for a healthy meal.
