Ingredients:
- 1 glass low-fat milk
- 5 almonds (chopped)
- 1 tsp almond flour (powdered almonds)
- 3-5 strands saffron (kesar)
- 2 cardamom pods (crushed)
- 1/2 cup ice
- Stevia or sugar-free (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Milk: Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Add saffron strands to the warm milk and stir until the milk changes color. Add almond flour and chopped almonds to the milk. Stir well.
Flavor the Milk: Add the crushed cardamom pods to the milk and mix well. Let the milk cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Sweeten (Optional): if desired, add stevia or sugar-free to taste.
Serve: in a glass, add ice cubes.
Pour the chilled saffron-almond milk over the ice cubes.
Stir and serve immediately.
