Ingredients
- Peanuts: 1/2 cup, roasted
- Green chilies: 2-3, adjust to taste
- Garlic cloves: 2
- Tamarind pulp: 1 tsp (optional)
- Salt: to taste
- Water: as needed
For tempering (optional):
- Oil: 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves: 5-6
- Dry red chili: 1
Preparation
Blend roasted peanuts, green chilies, garlic, tamarind pulp, salt, and water into a smooth chutney. Adjust the water to reach your desired consistency.
For tempering, heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds, let them splutter, then add curry leaves and dry red chili. Pour the tempering over the chutney.
Serving suggestion: Serve as a side dish with idli, dosa, or paratha.
