Ingredients
- Pineapple (fresh, peeled and chopped): 1 cup
- Low-fat curd (yogurt): 1 cup
- Roasted cumin powder: ½ tsp
- Black salt: ¼ tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped): 1 tbsp
- Salt: to taste
- Honey or jaggery (optional, for sweetness): ½ tsp (optional)
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk the low-fat curd until smooth and creamy.
Add the chopped pineapple to the curd.
Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, black salt, and regular salt to taste.
Optionally, add a bit of honey or jaggery if you like the raita slightly sweet.
Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves.
Chill for 10-15 minutes and serve chilled.

Notes
- Avoid excess sugar or sweeteners, as pineapple itself provides natural sweetness.
- If you prefer a thicker texture, you can strain the curd or use hung curd instead.
- Adjust the quantity of pineapple to your taste preference.
