Ingredients
- Boiled soya beans: 1 cup
- Onion: 1 small (finely chopped)
- Tomato: 1 medium (finely chopped)
- Cucumber: ½ (chopped)
- Green chili: 1 (finely chopped, optional)
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander leaves: 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Chaat masala: ½ teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder: ¼ teaspoon
- Black salt: to taste
- Salt: to taste
- Pomegranate seeds: 2 tablespoons (optional)
- Sev or roasted peanuts: 2 tablespoons (optional, for crunch)
Preparation
Boil the soya beans in salted water until soft, if not done already. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine boiled soya beans, chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, and green chili (if using).
Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, black salt, and regular salt.
Drizzle lemon juice over the mixture and mix well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Mix in pomegranate seeds for sweetness or sev/roasted peanuts for crunch.
