Ingredients:
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1/4 cup carrot, chopped
- 1/4 cup Nutri Soya chunks
- 1/4 cup beans, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup tomato, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Kitchen King masala
- 1.5 tsp olive oil
- 2.5 cups water
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and soak the basmati rice for 20 minutes, then drain. Chop the carrot, beans, onion, and tomato.
Cook the Pulao: Heat olive oil in a pot. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add sliced onion and sauté until golden brown. Add chopped tomato, carrot, beans, and Nutri Soya chunks. Cook for a few minutes.
Add Kitchen King masala and salt, mix well.
Add the soaked rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add 2.5 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat, cover, and cook until the rice is done and the water is absorbed.
Serve: Fluff the pulao with a fork and serve hot with raita or salad.
