Ingredients
- Tofu: 200g, cut into small cubes
- Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomato: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Cucumber: ½ cup, finely chopped
- Green chili: 1, finely chopped (optional)
- Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Chaat masala: 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder: ½ tsp
- Black salt: ¼ tsp (optional)
- Fresh coriander leaves: 2 tbsp, chopped
- Pomegranate seeds: 2 tbsp (optional, for garnish)
- Oil: 1 tsp
Preparation
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and lightly sauté the tofu cubes until golden and slightly crispy on all sides. Remove and let them cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, and green chili.
Add the sautéed tofu cubes to the bowl.
Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and black salt (if using) over the mixture.
Drizzle with lemon juice and toss everything gently to combine.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds, if desired.
Serving Size: Serves 2-3.
